Maia Alkhidze MD, PhD, child and adult neurologist, epileptologist. Clinical experience in neurology, epileptology. Pedagogic experience as an assistant professor. Participated in international educational courses on neurology, epileptology, epilepsy neurovisualisation, epilepsy pharmacotherapy, somnology. She is working in the Institute of Neurology and Neuropsychology as a neurologist, epileptologist. She has 9 years' scientific experience. She has published 10 scientific works, four articles among them. She is an author of two methodological recommendations (guidline/protocol) in epileptology. She has participated in the ILAE /IBE/WHO Global project in Georgia "Epilepsy out of shadows". She is a chief investigator in the EpiNet projects. For all these aformentioned she is qualified to participate in the bachelor's program in neurology.
