Salome Gugunava received her BA in architecture, Urban Design and Interior Design from the Georgian Technical University, and later her Master of Science from Politecnico di Milano in Architecutre_Architectural Design. Her thesis was select as one of the best thesis works of 2018 in Politecnico Di Milano. The project also was sent by the university to participate in Yang Talent Architecture Award (YTAA-2020) organised by Mies van der Rohe Foundation.
After finishing studying she continue her professional career in Milan and later in Barcelona, where she worked as an architect.
Within the Tbilisi Architecture Biennial 2020, she with her team created a workshop with her team ‘’Metaform – Critical Analisis of Georgian Architecture’’ workshop will take place in Tbilisi During the Biennial week in October 2020.
