Teimuraz Bezhanidze is a ph.d. student in political science from Tbilisi State University. He holds a master's degree in sociology from the same university. He is currently teaching theoretical and practical courses in political science research methodology and political/social explanation courses at various universities. His research interests include development/dependency theories, social explanation theories, and critical perspectives on research methods. He has implemented a number of research projects, both in the academic space, as well as in collaboration with various non-governmental organizations or initiative groups. In 2018-2019 he worked as the Head of the Research Department at the Georgian National University, since the same period he has been leading the academic content projects at "Platform for Social Dialogue", which are implemented in cooperation with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung.
