Prof. Levan Metreveli, MD, PhD, MPH
Prof. Metreveli earned his MD and PhD degreed in Tbilisi, Georgia from Tbilisi State Medical University and Institute of Experimental Morphology, respectively. His MPH degree has been earned at Emory University, Rollins School of Public Health (Atlanta, Georgia, USA) with the concentration in Global Health. Prof. Metreveli has also attended an extended course in Health Economics at the University of York (York, England, UK). In addition, he is an experienced public health professional with the track of directing large-scale donor-funded (USAID, European Commission, UNICEF, US Embassy, The Coca-Cola Foundation, Oxfam UK, etc.) projects worth of around $ 3.5 million. Prof. Metreveli’s research interests are in: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Global Health, Medical/Health Education, etc. Throughout the years, he has been delivering courses in Public Health, Health Policy and Economics, Healthcare Management, Behavioral Sciences and Health Education, Evidence-Based Medicine.
