Simon is a medical doctor with postgraduate qualification in Community Health and Health Management (University Heidelberg, Germany) and Development Studies (International Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, The Netherlands). He has academic background and expertise in the fields of health economics, health financing options for low and middle-income countries, economics of population health, public sector reforms, maternal and child health and etc. Simon has technical background and experience in project planning and management, financial and human resource management, evaluation and selection of project proposals for funding, evaluation of large-scale projects for international donor, advocacy at the central and regional levels. Mr. Gabritchidze has more than 2 decades working experience in various governmental and non-governmental, not for profit organizations and academic institutions.
