Nino Davitaya Place and date of birth: January 4, 1970; Tbilisi Mother- Marcella Kevlishbili, (born in 1942), musician; teacher of piano at Tbilisi N4 Music school; Father- Alexander Davitaya (1936-1997) Professor, Head of Computer Centre of Caucasus Railway; Doctor of Cambridge University; In 1976-1987 I was a pupil at Tbilisi N122 secondary school. In 1987 I entered at the Tbilisi state University on the Faculty of Cybernetics and Applied mathematics, which I graduated in 1992 with honor diploma and got a degree in Mathematics. During 1988-1991 I also studied at the secondary faculty of English Language and Western European literature, received translator’s diploma in 1991. In 1992-1995 I worked at Vekua Institute of Applied mathematics as a junior scientific, in 1995 I got Edmund Muskie and Freedom support act grant and continued to study at Williams College, MA, USA. I received Master of Arts Degree in Development Economics in 1996, afterwards I spend one year for paid internship in New York, at “Sanwa” Bank as associate at dealing room. From 1997 I work in Georgia, used to be a finance manager at various international companies, NGO’s, etc. from 1999 I started to teach in private universities mainly finance module: accounting,, financial management, investment, etc. I have published several articles and reports at scientific magazines and international conference proceedings. Nowadays I teach at The Georgian University, Professor ; Research is in financial instruments and risk management, also work at the insurance company “Ardi Group” as a head of internal audit deoartment;
