Khatuna Ochiauri is distinguished architect, interior designer, and public figure. She graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in 1982 in the field of architecture and worked intensively since then. In 1988 she became a member of the Designers Union and since then participated in various exhibitions, expositions, architectural planning and landscaping, international and national architectural competitions and worked as an interior designer in the various cities of USSR and abroad. From the year 2000 she was also a senior teacher in the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. In 2006 she was elected as a Member of Tbilisi city council as a Chairman of the Old Tbilisi Development Commission. Later, Ochiauri was also a Member of the Parliament of Georgia of the 7th convocation in 2008-2012 and Deputy Chairman of the Science and Culture Committee and became the governor of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region in 2012. Since 2014 she is the Head architect of R-312 Architects. Her notable works include the Museum of Soviet Occupation in Tbilisi and Nobel Brothers Batumi Technological Museum.
