Sopio Gachechiladze – currently an invited lecturer and a PBL tutor at the university of Georgia and GAU. Sopio graduated from David Tvildiani Medical university and was awarded the degree of Medical Doctor in July of 2019. Since graduation Sopio has worked at several universities and has taught both Georgian and foreign students. She has experience of teaching subjects such as: physiology, genetics, molecular biology, and microbiology. She also underwent training: “Running and facilitation of problem-based learning session” and has been working as a PBL tutor since. During pandemics with support of David Tvildiani Medical University, Sopio, with other students and graduates, volunteered to translate and edit newly updated articles about COVID 19. She took and passed USMLE Step 1 exam in June of 2022.
