Anna Kakhidze - Visiting lecturer of the English-language medical program at the Department of Histology and Embryology. After graduating with honours from the Physics-Mathemacs School of Tbilisi "Komarov", she pursued her career path at the Tbilisi State Medical University with full government’s scholarship. In 2016, she was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD). In 2017-2020, she got specialization in the field of pediatric neurology at the same university. In August 2020, she was awarded a state certificate confirming her specialization and started independent medical practice. She has been eagerly involved in both academic and clinical activities since her university years, and has received scholarships from the "International League Against Epilepsy" (ILAE) and the "European Association of Neurologists" (EAN) to attend the "Baltic Sea Summer School on Epilepsy" and the Austrian Spring School in Doerfl. In 2018, she became a finalist of the Erasmus Mundus Master's program "International Master in Innovative Medicine". She is a representative of the Young Researchers Society of the "European Association of Neurology" (EAN), She participates in various conferences, congresses and sciencfic/research events. She speaks English (C1) and Russian (C1).
