Akaki Tsomaia is a doctor of economics and holds a full-time appointment as an Associate Professor at the School of Business and Management, The University of Georgia. In 2010-2011 he was invited as a courtesy professor at Florida State University (FSU, Stavros Center). He has been conducting lectures in the following disciplines: Microeconomics and Macroeconomics (intermediate and advanced level); Financial and Currency Systems, Capital Markets; Monetary Policy; Fiscal Policy; International Economics, Game Theory, Management, and Strategic Management. Dr. Tsomaia gained experience in the participation of various grant projects. His experience counts some of the internationally competitive grants including the Fulbright’s Visiting Scholar grant (postdoctoral).
