Tamar Ruseishvili is an Invited Lecturer who delivers the course "Introduction to International Law." As a woman professional in Public International Law (PIL) and a junior scholar, she holds LL.M and LL.B degrees. Her primary areas of expertise revolve around International Human Rights Law (IHRL) and International Humanitarian Law (IHL). At present, Tamar serves as a legal advisor to Georgia's State Representation to the International Courts. In this role, she provides counsel to the Government on cases before the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), the International Criminal Court (ICC), and the United Nations Human Rights Treaty Bodies. Prior to this, she has contributed to fostering cooperation between the European Union and Georgia, with an emphasis on human rights protection. Tamar is also an independent expert in human rights, with a special focus on women's rights. Within the academic sphere, she teaches various courses in international law. In addition, her experience extends to research, consultation, and international law training, both domestically and internationally.
