Gvantsa Elgendashvili is a PhD (S.J.D) Candidate in Law at Central European University, Department of Legal Studies. Her research focuses on securitization of intellectual property rights (IPRs), issuance of securities with the involvement of IPR(s) and regulation of the stated process. Gvantsa received an Advanced Doctoral Award from Central European University for her exceptional doctoral research. She is a Legal Director at the Georgian-American consultancy firm SunBreath Corp. Legal Services and serves as an Invited Lecturer at the University of Georgia and Georgian-American University. Gvantsa was involved in teaching law at Central European University and Georgian-American University. Gvantsa Elgendashvili holds an LL.M in International Business Law from Central European University and a Master’s degree in Private Law from Tbilisi State University. At different times, she studied law in the U.S. and Europe. Her research areas include capital markets law, comparative secured transactions law, intellectual property law, and corporate finance law.
