Maia Elizbarashvili - guest lecturer, PHD in biology - leads the microbiology course. She graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Biology, majoring in microbiology. She also has a PhD in Biology from S. Durmishidze Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology. She engages in scientific activities at George Eliava Institute of Bacteriophages, Microbiology, and Virology. She has participated in various scientific projects, trainings and conferences. Maia is the author and co-author of 28 articles. All of the above gives the competence to Maia Elizbarashvili to lead the microbiology course.
