Ada Nemsadze is a Georgian literary scholar, senior researcher in Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. In 1997 she graduated Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Philology, majoring in Georgian Language and Literature. In 2002-2005 she studied in Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, specializing in modern Georgian literature. In 2006 Ada Nemsadze defended dissertation on the topic “The problem of identity in the novels of Otar Chiladze”. The major field of Ada Nemsadze’s scientific interest includes modern Georgian literature, literary criticism, analysis of literary processes of Soviet and Post-Soviet period. Since 2009 she has been working at the Institute of Georgian Literature, lectures at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Ada Nemsadze is the author of scientific articles and 3 monographs, a participant in scientific grant projects, local and international scientific forums. She is a member of the Georgian Comparative Literature Association (GCLA).
