Dr. Tamar Abramidze as a Head of Immunology Laboratory and Senior Researcher have more than 20 years of experience in immunology, allergy diagnostics, laboratory management, and international research programmes. She has extensive expertise in strategic laboratory leadership, implementation of advanced diagnostic technologies, quality management systems, and laboratory capacity strengthening. Dr. Abramidze has successfully managed multicentre research projects, international collaborations, budgets, regulatory compliance, and complex scientific operations. For 15 years, she has lectured in Histology and Cell Biology at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. She is the author of over 25 peer-reviewed scientific publications and a regular presenter at the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) Congress, where she has received four Best Presentation Awards. Dr. Abramidze developed Georgia’s first national pollen monitoring system and pollen calendar and integrated national aerobiological data into the European Aeroallergen Network.
