Levan Katsitadze — mathematician, researcher, and educator. In 2026, I graduated with honors from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, following my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the same university in 2024 (also with honors). My earlier academic background also includes economics (Bachelor in Economics, TSU, 2019).
Alongside my academic and research work, I have practical experience in actuarial science from my time at the Aldagi insurance company. Currently, I actively continue my teaching and research career as a lecturer at the University of Georgia, where I teach a course in machine learning, while also teaching mathematics to 11th and 12th-grade students.
My research has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals (Applied Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics). I am a recipient of the Ilia Vekua Scholarship. I actively participate in local and international scientific events, having presented papers at international conferences in Tbilisi, Dresden, and Kutaisi. I am fluent in Georgian, English, Russian, and German.
