Mariam Lobjanidze - Head of the Department of Public Health and Health Care Management of the University of Georgia since 2017. Guest lecturer of the University of Georgia since 2016. She obtained the Bachelor of Management and Master of Public Health degrees at the University of Georgia. At the master's level, she studied for one academic year in Great Britain, at the University of Chester within the framework of the "ERASMUS MUNDUS MEDEA" exchange program, as well as a one-semester course in the direction of global health, at the Arctic University of Norway. From 2018, she is enrolled in the doctoral program of Public Health of the University of Georgia. Actively involved in ERASMUS+ projects, eg: "Building Academic Capacity in Global Health in the Eastern Europe - Central Asia Region" Second Course on "Research Methods for Global Health". In February 2019, she represented Georgia healthcare sector in USA within the program: "Open World Program" administered by the Open World Leadership Center, USA. Actively participates in annual field activities and conferences organized by AUPHA, CAHME, ASPHER and EUPHA. In 2015-2017, she worked at the "MediclubGeorgia" clinic in the quality management department, on issues related to JCI accreditation. She is the author of several articles. Recent publications co-authored by her are Determination of Admission Criteria for Global Public Health Master at the University of Georgia. Eur J Public Health. 2022 Oct 25;32(Suppl 3):ckac131.384. doi: 10.1093/eurpub/ckac131.384. PMCID: PMC9831592. Also, "Lessons Learned – Development of new MPH Program at the University of Georgia" published in the European Journal of Public Health, etc. She has completed practice in several hospitals in Georgia and training in Florence Nightingale Hospital in Turkey. He was involved in international projects/researches and conferences such as: EUPHA 11th conference, AUPHA ANNUAL MEETING 2018, TEMPUS, SIU, Georgian-Norwegian Collaboration in Public Health (GeNoC-PH), Universal Healthcare Program Evaluation Survey (USAID), 8th Silk Road International Conference and others
