I, Kakhaber Demetrashvili (patronymic Vladimer), was born on January 10, 1970 in the city of Tbilisi. My place of residence is the city of Tbilisi, Vashlijvri settlement, Mukhran Machavariani street №28, apartment №10. I have a family. I have a wife - Nino Cotadze (patronymic Vazha) - Deputy Director of Public School №158 (born on January 10, 1975); Son - Dachi Demetrashvili (patronymic Kakhaber) - 7th grade student of public school №158 (born on January 18, 2011). In the years 1976-1986, I studied at secondary school №17 in the city of Rustavi. In 1986-1989, I worked in the Industrial Production Unification “automatindustry” (as a locksmith). In 1989-1991, I completed mandatory military service. In 1991, I worked in Rustavi tourist company "Yurmala" as the organize. In 1991, I enrolled at the Faculty of History of Eastern countries and International Relations of the Asian and African Institute of Tbilisi, which I completed the full course with honors in 1996 and received a specialty - Orientalist-historian, international relations specialist and political scientist (diploma - DF 004854). n 1997-2000, I studied at the graduate school of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Giorgi Tsereteli of the Georgian Academy of Sciences (source studies and historiography - 07. 00. 11). In 2005, in the same institute, I defended my thesis on the topic - "story of Georgia" by Papuna Orbeliani as a source for the history of Iran", after which I received the scientific degree of candidate of historical sciences (doctor of history) (diploma - №004738). wice, in 1996 and 2000, I did an internship in the Islamic Republic of Iran (for two months). From February 1, 2006 until now, I have been an employee of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Giorgi Tsereteli (the institute was under the control of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, and on August 2, 2010 it joined Ilia State University), where I worked at various times as a Researcher, Assistant Researcher and Associate Researcher. From September 2013 until now, I have been working as a Teacher of world and Georgian History in 123rd Public School of Tbilisi State Public School. Since 2015, I have been working as a Visiting Professor of History of the Middle East at the University of Georgia (UG). In addition, in 2010-2014, I worked as a Visiting Professor of history at "Tbilisi Teaching University” LTD, and in 2011-2013 - as an Associated Professor of Teaching University “RVALI” LTD. I speak: in addition to native Georgian, Russian (fluent), Persian (well) and German (with a dictionary).
