Mariam Nikolashvili – Visiting lecturer at the University of Georgia (Since October 2017, up till now.)
She graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University, Faculty of Medicine (Degree: Medical Doctor, MD). From February 2017 till February 2020 – did residency course in clinical endocrinology at the “National institute of Endocrinology”, Tbilisi, Georgia. During this period, she was working as an assistant doctor, meantime having lectures and seminars with student groups in endocrinology (From Tbilisi State University TSU). She is an employ of Tbilisi Medical Academy, position: Visiting lecturer of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine.
Mariam Nikolashvili frequently attends local and international conferences and training courses about general endocrinology, as well as neuroendocrinology, diabetology and topics related to metabolic disorders.
She is a member of EYES – European young endocrinologist-scientist society, (Since February 2019 – up till now). Also, she’s a member of Georgian association of Endocrinology and Metabolism (GAEM) – From January 2019 – Up till now.
She successfully completed the training course about “Chief principles about teaching methods in medicine”, Organizer: Tbilisi Medical Academy, Tbilisi, 17-20th September, 2019.
With the association of Georgian Young Pediatrician’s Society, she was leading a training course for students and resident doctors about “Hypothyroidism, overview, treatment and management” held at the Tbilisi State Medical University, in October 2018.
She’s an author of one publication, topic: “Hormonal imbalances responsible for Obesity”, 2019 year.
