Tamar Ketsebaia has been a researcher at Gnomon Wise, the independent research institute of the University of Georgia, since its foundation. Her research focuses primarily on legal field, with a particular emphasis on Law and Economics, the Rule of Law, Property Rights, and Judiciary systems. From 2015 to 2019, Tamar served as a legal analyst for "FactCheck Georgia," a project under Georgia’s Reforms Associates (GRASS). During her tenure, she was actively involved in various organizational projects and conducted training sessions on human rights. Between 2023 and 2025, she held the position of Law Module Lecturer at the High School of Georgia. Since April 2021, Tamar has been a Committee Member for the InterNational Academy of Dispute Resolution (INADR) International Law School Mediation Tournament. Following an internship with the organization (2024-2025), she was appointed as an INADR Fellow in June 2025. Starting from the Spring 2026 semester, Tamar has been serving as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Georgia, where she teaches Constitutional Law. Tamar earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Free University of Tbilisi in 2015 and a Master’s degree in Public Law and Policy from Ilia State University in 2021. She has successfully passed the Georgian Bar Association’s qualifying examination with a general specialization and is currently completing her professional adaptation program.
