Junior and senior year students, MA students and graduates of the University of Georgia have an opportunity to apply for a Front-end Developer position in one of the companies.
Main responsibilities:
- Working with a team to develop the overall look and design of a website;
- Determine the structure and design of web application;
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use;
- Develop web application with all the necessary features to enhance the user experience;
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs;
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability;
- Ensure web application is accessible across all major operational systems and device types;
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end;
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Main requirements:
- React – Proficient;
- Java Script – Proficient;
- HTML5 – Intermediate;
- CSS3 – Intermediate;
- Typescript – Beginner;
- GraphQL – Beginner;
- Have at least 2 years of experience in working with ReactJS (or VueJS), HTML5, CSS3;
- Have experience with Redux, TypeScript, GraphQL;
- Have worked with e-commerce applications;
- Knowledge of English language;
Personal competencies and skills:
- Enjoy working on tech products from scratch;
- Like teamwork and sharing knowledge;
- Are more of a “I’m going to make it work” type than “Cannot be done” person;
- Know how to search for answers if you don’t have one.
