Students and graduates of the University of Georgia have the opportunity to apply for a Non-Medical Claims Specialist position at one of the insurance companies operating in Georgia.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing processes related to non-medical insurance claims, including:
- Visiting the incident site and taking photographs of damaged property, when necessary;
- Ensuring that claim forms are completed;
- Locating and collecting all required documentation related to the claim;
- Reviewing and verifying damage assessments;
- Managing the claims settlement process;
- Informing clients about claims settlement procedures and relevant deadlines.
Requirements
- Knowledge of standard office software;
- Previous experience in a similar position is preferred;
- Strong attention to detail;
- A high sense of responsibility;
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
