Junior and senior year students, MA students and graduates of the University of Georgia have an opportunity to apply for a prop trader position at one of the brokerage companies.

Main responsibilities:

·         Conduct market analyze on all trade instruments on which company is oriented;

·         Discuss with prop trading group about interesting trade instruments;

·         Form trade ideas according to selected finance instruments and move in ledger;

·         Relate trade algorithms made and formed by the company to the idea and defend it;

·         Pay attention and control daily economic news;

·         Make daily trade plan;

·         Take screenshot (or video) of selected instrument and move in trader ledger with short description before trading;

·         Report daily (weekly) made deals and send reports to the manager;

·         Participate in discussion about positive and negative deals made one day before.

Main requirements:

·         Persuasive speech and coherent speaking;

·         Ability to share information effectively;

·         Knowledge of computer office programs;

·         Motivated and active;

·         Punctuality and organized;

·         Communicable;

·         High sense of responsibility;

·         Result oriented;

·         Ability to work with team and independently;

·         Good analytical thinking.
