Crisis Response Simulacion

The University of Georgia’s School of Social Sciences (UG) in collaboration with the Georgian Strategic Analysis Center (GSAC) organized a crisis response training simulation.

The training simulation involves assessing national readiness and resilience through the enactment of a specific crisis scenario, taking into account various threats and risks. It evaluates the responses of relevant organizations and agencies—both international and domestic—as well as analyzes the effectiveness of existing legal and procedural mechanisms.

The project engages two main groups: graduate and undergraduate students specializing in Political Science and International Relations (maximum 20 participants), and representatives from relevant state agencies responsible for crisis management (maximum 20 participants).

This training simulation not only serves to analyze resilience at both central and local government levels within a concrete context but also includes an intensive educational phase. Over the course of one month, participants engage in 40 hours of in-depth training (2 hours per day), deepening their knowledge and competencies on a wide range of critical crisis response topics.
