Group Psychotherapy for Adults Interested in Coping with the Feeling of Loneliness!
What does loneliness mean?
Is loneliness simply being alone with yourself?
What do we fear more — loneliness or isolation?
Loneliness is considered one of the main problems of modern humans.
Isolation means physical solitude, whereas loneliness is a psychological separation from the surrounding world. Loneliness is the feeling that:
People around you don’t understand you;
You have different interests and values than others;
Even your close ones don’t really know you;
You can’t trust anyone;
You are alone in the world.
In the process of group psychotherapy, real-life patterns will be played out, since the group represents a real-life model where people naturally reveal forms of relationships, moods, values, and emotional-behavioral reactions.
This training is based on the principles of Gestalt theory.
