Students of the Bachelor's Program in Strategic Communications are actively and successfully participating in international projects carried out in collaboration with partner universities abroad. One such significant initiative is the project Intercultural Communication Audit, implemented in partnership with Tomas Bata University in the Czech Republic.
The aim of the project was to conduct a comparative analysis of global brands' communication styles, platform usage, and the specifics of message delivery within different cultural contexts. Participating students conducted research on international communication channels (LinkedIn, Reddit, X, YouTube, corporate websites) to explore the distinctive features of strategic communication practices.
The project involved 10 working groups composed of international teams. Based on the evaluation conducted by academic representatives of Tomas Bata University, three winning groups were selected—all of which were composed of students from the University of Georgia.
The project was coordinated by the Head of the Bachelor’s Programs in Strategic Communications and Journalism at the University of Georgia. This international experience plays a vital role in enhancing students' professional skills in areas such as intercultural communication, brand analysis, comparison of communication strategies, and the practical development of research competencies.
