- Based on the results of the Unified Master's Examinations, in order to obtain the right to study at the University of Georgia, a master's degree candidate is required to:
• Pass the English language exam specified by the university;
• Pass an interview in the specialty.
- The registration period for master's degree candidates for university-defined exams is set from September 1 to September 9, 2026. Registration will be held Monday through Friday, from 18:00 to 21:00 at the following address: Tbilisi, Kostava St. 77, IV Academic Building.
- 3. In order to take the exam specified by the university, the master's candidate is obliged to upload the following documents to the link specified during registration (the link will be activated on September 1):
• Receipt confirming payment of the English language exam fee (50 GEL);
Note: University of Georgia graduates are exempt from the language exam if they have maintained English level B2/2 for at least 5 years.
• Copy of the exam-identification card (in jpg.jpeg.png.gif.bmp.heic.heif.webp format);
• Copy of the identity document (in jpg.jpeg.png.gif.bmp.heic.heif.webp format);
• Copy of the bachelor's diploma; (if the diploma has not yet been issued by the university, a copy of the degree award certificate must be submitted) (in jpg.jpeg.png.gif.bmp.heic.heif.webp format);
• Copy of military registration certificate (in jpg.jpeg.png.gif.bmp.heic.heif.webp format) (in the case of boys)
• Photograph (academic format, 3x4, biometric, taken on a white background); (in jpg.jpeg.png.gif.bmp.heic.heif.webp format)
- The exam specified by the university will be held on September 10, 2026, at 11:00, at the address: Tbilisi, Kostava St. 77a, IV Educational Building, Room #-407.
- The interview specified by the university will be held on September 11, 14, 15 and 16, 2026 at the address: Tbilisi, Kostava St. 77a, IV Educational Building.

• School of Business and Administrative Sciences - Auditorium N327
• School of Science and Technology: Room N202 (IV Building);
• School of Arts and Humanities: Room N606 (IV Building);
• Master's Program in Georgian History - Interview in Room N524 (Building IV);
- Admission prerequisites for the Child and Adolescent Psychology and Clinical Psychology Counseling concentrations in applied psychology require a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
- A Bachelor of Laws degree (or an equivalent degree in Law) is a prerequisite for admission to the Master's program in Law (Georgian-language) and International Business Law.
- For the following programs: A) Law, B) International Business Law, in addition to the foreign language exam, an exam in the specialty (oral) is also required. Furthermore, the specialty exam for the International Business Law program will be conducted in English.
- For the International Business Law program, the mandatory English language requirement is set at the B2 level. This can be satisfied alternatively by:
a) passing the internal exam with a minimum score of 70%; or
b) submitting a certificate proving the successful completion of internationally recognized English language exams (IELTS, TOEFL, or Cambridge English Qualifications), where the equivalent scores for the B2 level are: IELTS 5.5-6.5, TOEFL iBT 72-94, and Cambridge English Qualifications 160-179; or
c) providing documentation confirming that you have completed your Bachelor studies in the English language.
10. The following number of Master's degree candidates for the Master's degree programs in Law may receive funding:
a) Master's degree program in Law (Georgian) - 3 places;
b) Master's degree program in International Business Law (English) - 10 places.
The tuition fee will be fully funded for those students who have taken one of the English language exam certificates in 2023 - 2026 with the following scores:
✅ TOEFL - 85 points and above;
✅ IELTS - 6 points and above;
✅ Cambridge English Exam - 170 points and above.
The university will fully cover the tuition fee difference for students who obtain a grant in the Unified Master's Exams (even without a language certificate).
If one or both conditions are met while competing for grant spots, priority will be given to the student who earned a grant in the Unified Master's Exams. In case of identical results, the decision will be made in favor of the candidate who achieves a better result in the subject-specific interview.
11. Prerequisites for admission to the Master's Program in History of Georgia:
a) The internal university exam consists of an English language proficiency test (written) and an exam in the specialty - History of Georgia (oral). The approximate topics of the exams are posted on the website.
b) The applicant will be exempted from the English language exam if he/she presents an internationally recognized certificate or diploma/supplement/certificate of completion of the Bachelor's program, which confirms the knowledge of the English language at the B2 level.
c) The applicant will be exempted from the exam in History of Georgia (oral) if he/she is a graduate of the Bachelor's Program in History of the University of Georgia, who has completed a Bachelor's thesis.
d) All other applicants must present some work (bachelor's thesis, published article, etc.) proving their research competence during the oral exam, which will be the focus of the interview.
12. In case of dissatisfaction with the exam results determined by the university, the master's candidate is authorized to submit an appeal application within no later than 3 calendar days from the publication of the exam results on the university's official website.
13. A master's candidate who has obtained the right to study at the University of Georgia shall, in order to undergo administrative registration, present the following documents during a visit to the University from September 17 to September 22, 2026:
• Original ID or passport;
• Original or notarized copy of a bachelor's diploma;
• Original document confirming military registration (in the case of boys);
• Document confirming payment of tuition fees in the amount exceeding the state educational grant obtained (receipt for payment of at least 18 and at most 30 credits);
• and sign an electronic agreement.
14. The academic registration period shall be set as September 17-22, 2026.
