Organized by the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA, London) and University of Georgia, the International Architectural Summer School and Research Program will take place in Samshvilde from August 26 to September 5, 2026. “Archival Land(e)scapes: Material Fragments of Samshvilde”
The program focuses on the architectural artifacts, landscape, and historical layers of the ancient settlement of Samshvilde. Participants will work in interdisciplinary groups in the following areas:
The program is intended for students and young professionals in architecture, urban and landscape design, archaeology, art, photography, anthropology, humanities, and other related fields.
Notably, with the support of the University of Georgia and local and international sponsors, funding opportunities will be provided for 5 participants, including:
