The University of Georgia’s Center for Quantum Technologies and Artificial Intelligence, in collaboration with the Quantum Computing Association, is launching a network of quantum technology clubs in Georgian schools.
The project is designed for high school students interested in physics, mathematics, programming, and emerging technologies. Through weekly online sessions, students will explore quantum computing, quantum communication, quantum sensors, quantum cryptography, and their practical applications.
Participants will gain hands-on experience through programming exercises, simulations, and small projects. They will also meet Georgian scientists and researchers working abroad, learn about their research, and prepare for international competitions.
Each school will have a student-led club, with leaders selected based on their knowledge, experience, and motivation through an application and interview process.
Who can apply?
High school students with a strong foundation in physics and mathematics, some Python programming experience, and a genuine interest in quantum science and technology.
