Paid internship at the Blockchain Center of Austria, Vienna

For students of the Law School of the University of Georgia: paid internship at the Blockchain Center of Austria, Vienna.

The project involves a two-month internship by a selected students of the University of Georgia at the Austrian Blockchain Center, which is a research organization founded by five leading Austrian universities: University of Vienna, Vienna University of Economy and Business, Technical University of Vienna, Innsbruck University, St. Pölten University. Blockchain Center has the title of an expert in both technology development and business model creation and legal consulting.

Master's students of the Law School of the University of Georgia can participate in the project.

In order to participate in the project, it is necessary for the applicant master's student to conduct research, on the basis of which the participants will be selected. The research should be aimed at analyzing EU legislation in the direction of blockchain regulations, artificial intelligence, smart contracts, crypto regulations.

The student must present a unique research that has not been published or conducted within the framework of another project.

The research must be in English and consist of the following parts:

·      An abstract summarizing the main findings of the study (200 words);

·        Table of contents (chapters and subsections 1. 1.1. 1.2. 1.3. 2. 2.1. ….. );

 

·        Introduction and the main part of the research, which should reflect the description of the problem and include the analysis of the way to solve the problem, (at least 2500 words);

 

·        List of abbreviations, if necessary;

The deadline for research submission is January 30, 2024 to the following e-mail address: n.sturua@ug.edu.ge.

Selected candidates will undergo an online interview with representatives of the Austrian Blockchain Center.

The internship program will start in July 2024.
