The University of Georgia will conduct yet another Week of Tolerance in the framework of the International Day of Tolerance throughout the Week of November, through 16 - 20.
UG will host a series of public lectures dedicated to various topics around tolerance. Attendance is free and all guest will receive a special certificate. Guests will include successful professionals, including journalists, diplomats and so on.
Within the Week of Tolerance the University of Georgia announced a competition “Tolerance is Freedom”: Students and 12th graders from all around Georgia are welcome to participate. The competition entails coming up with a creative campaign on the subject of tolerance. The author of the best campaign will be revealed by the jury of the University of Georgia and will receive 1000 Gel for campaign implementation
UG hosted the first ever Week of Tolerance in 2014, giving way to a meaningful tradition for the sake of popularizing ideas of humanism and tolerance. The Week of Tolerance is held under the slogan “Tolerance is Freedom!”.
