The University of Georgia will conduct yet another Week of Tolerance in the framework of the International Day of Tolerance from 12th of November through 16th of November, during which the University of Georgia will host a series of public lectures and special events. The main themes to be highlighted this year will be tolerance towards elderly people, animals and nature.
The University of Georgia the first ever Week of Tolerance in 2014, giving way to a meaningful tradition for the sake of popularizing ideas of humanism and tolerance. The motto of the Week of Tolerance is “Tolerance is Freedom”.

Public Lecture: Tolerance towards Animals
Every Attendant will have the opportunity to bring their own pets.
In addition, everyone can send a photo with their own pet and The University of Georgia will upload these photos on Facebook page.

Tinatin Chavchavanidze- Psychologist, Founder of Animal Rights Committee of Georgia.

Public Lecture: Tolerance towards Elders
Visit at Tbilisi Elderly Boarding Home- Satnoebis Sakhli, where students of the University of Georgia will perform and bring gifts for the elderly.

14th of November
Public Lecture: Tolerance Towards the Environment
Speaker- Zurab Sevardnadze, Gardener, Founder of Gardenia Shevardnadze
After the lecture, students will plant various plants in Garden of Europe located on campus.
