In 2026, UG Ars Gusto signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Italian culinary school ALMA – Scuola Internazionale di Cucina Italiana. UG Ars Gusto is the only educational institution in the South Caucasus that offers students exchange programmes at ALMA. The cooperation is intended to broaden opportunities for students to gain international experience and develop professionally.
ALMA is located in Colorno, near Parma, Italy. Opportunities to participate in professional programmes, exchange knowledge and become familiar with Italian culinary experience are being considered as part of this cooperation.
The cooperation aims to:
Italian culinary weeks, professional masterclasses and thematic meetings form part of the Academy’s international activities. Through them, students become familiar with Italian culinary traditions, modern techniques and approaches to product presentation. Joint international certificates from Ars Gusto and ALMA are issued upon completion of the masterclasses.
At the initiative of the Embassy of the Italian Republic, ALMA chefs Stefano Scarso and Daniela Antoniotti, as well as Michelin-starred brand chef Salvatore La Ragione, visited the Academy over several years. Graduates of training and masterclasses involving these visiting specialists received bilingual international certificates.
