The University of Georgia is the first educational institution in Georgia that has gained the right to teach CCNA, CCNP courses and managed to integrate them into the curriculum.Cisco Systems is one of the largest producers of networking and communications technologies in the world.Cisco has contributed to implementation of a lot of important and historic changes in technologies that have been widely used and improved. Now, when technology industry is developing every day, Cisco is the leading company in the market which comprises several spheres such as routing, switching, unified communications, mobility and security, ensuring their safety. Cisco is the center of fundamental change in the world communication systems.After passing CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) course, students will study planning, installation and management of small and medium size computer networks. This basic course comprises not only theoretical issues that are necessary for the administration of the computer network, but also practical and laboratory work which is important for a network administrator to obtain critically needed skills.After completing the mentioned course, graduates can use 50% or 70% discount while sitting CCNA International Exam at Cisco Academy. They are given this opportunity after successful completion of CCNA course in the Academy. CCNP course is the next stage of CCNA course. It is prepared considering all those requirements that are necessary to hold professional positions in modern corporate networks. These positions are: network engineer, network administrator, system engineer and network consultant.CCNP course comprises theoretical lectures as well as practical and laboratory work that will help students to deepen their knowledge and skills in different issues, such as: routing, switching, installation, network further management and problem solving issues.
