Call for applications for Mobility Direct exchange program at the European Humanities University (Lithuania)

Students will study one semester at the European Humanities University Spring Semester - 2022-2023 academic year

The spring semester at the European Humanities University will last from March 2023 till July 2023.

During the exchange semester students do not cover any tuition costs at the European Humanities University, however students must cover the tuition costs of the credits that are recognized by the end of the exchange program at the University of Georgia.

The exchange program does not include:

• Travel and Visa costs
• Daily expenses and accommodation costs

In case of high academic performance, the University of Georgia fully funds the accommodation fees.

*The following students can not apply:

·         Bachelor’s students currently studying on their 1^st semester

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s students for whom the spring semester of the 2022-23 academic year will be the last semester of their studies.

·         Students whose student statuses are not active at the time of the application

After completion of the exchange semester the transfer of credits will be executed according to the UG’s credit system, meaning the number of credits of a transferred subjects will correspond to the number of credits assigned to the appropriate subjects at UG. For the Mobility Direct Program the students do not pay any tuition fee to the host university, however the student must cover the cost of the recognized credits at the University of Georgia after completion of the exchange semester. For the Erasmus+ program student do not pay the tuition fee for the recognized credits.

Accommodation

The European Humanities University assists the students with finding suitable accommodation. The students may address the representative of EHU for assistance.

Students are free to seek out any other form of accommodation on their own.

Language Requirement

The students are able to study the courses in the English language during their exchange period. The students are required to submit a certificate of the English language CEFR B2 level proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL or other internationally recognized certificate).

The certificate must be valid at the time of application.

If the student does not have an internationally recognized certificate, she/he can attend the English language B2 examination. The details for the English exam will be provided to the students via MY UG message.

• Reference letter from the appropriate School of UG (Please address the assistant of your school
• English language proficiency certificate* (CEFR B2 level valid at the time of applying)
• Passport copy

Students currently studying on the 1^st semester of the Master’s program, who have not completed their bachelor’s degree at the University of Georgia, must additionally submit the transcript of records of their bachelor’s studies in the English language

*Students who attend the English language exam and pass, do not need to submit any certificate for the English language.
