Call for applications for Erasmus+ and Mobility Direct exchange programs at the Kaunas University of Techologies (Lithuania)Students will study one semester at the Kufstein Tirol University (Spring Semester - 2021-2022 academic year) The fall semester at the Kaunas University will last from February 1st 2022 till June 30th 2022. Only 2nd and 3rd year students can apply
During the exchange semester students do not cover any tuition costs at the Kaunas University, however students must cover the tuition costs of the credits that are recognized by the end of the exchange program at the University of Georgia. The exchange program does not include: Travel and Visa costs Daily expenses and accommodation costs Average accommodation costs – 60-140 EUR In case of high academic performance, the University of Georgia fully funds the accommodation fees.
*The following students can not apply: · Bachelor’s students currently studying on their 1st semester · Bachelor’s or Master’s students for whom the fall semester of the 2021-22 academic year will be the last semester of their studies. · Students whose student statuses are not active at the time of the application

Study Offer |

After completion of the exchange semester the transfer of credits will be executed according to the UG’s credit system, meaning the number of credits of a transferred subjects will correspond to the number of credits assigned to the appropriate subjects at UG. For the Mobility Direct Program the students do not pay any tuition fee to the host university, however the student must cover the cost of the recognized credits at the University of Georgia after completion of the exchange semester. For the Erasmus+ program student do not pay the tuition fee for the recognized credits.

Accommodation |
The Kaunas University offers the students its student housing (monthly rent 60-140 EUR). Detailed information about housing can be found here: https://admissions.ktu.edu/welcome-week/#accommodation
Students are free to seek out any other form of accommodation on their own.

Language Requirement |
The students are able to study the courses in the English language during their exchange period. The students are required to submit a certificate of the English language CEFR B2 level proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL or other internationally recognized certificate). The certificate must be valid at the time of application.
If the student does not have an internationally recognized certificate, she/he can attend the English language B2 examination on October 5th, 16:00 in the Room 307. In order to attend the exam, the student must register beforehand: https://forms.gle/k6wboVVQyJJxUYkH6
