Mobility Direct Exchange Programme in Poland

Call for applications for Mobility Direct exchange program at the University of Lodz (Poland)Students will study one semester at the University of Lodz (Fall Semester – 2022-2023 academic year) See the webpage of the university - https://www.uni.lodz.pl/
During the exchange semester students do not cover any tuition costs at the University of Lodz, however students must cover the tuition costs of the credits that are recognized by the end of the exchange program at the University of Georgia. The exchange program does not include: · Travel and Visa costs · Daily expenses and accommodation costs University of Lodz student accommodation costs – 70-100 EUR Average monthly expenses – 200-250 EUR In case of high academic performance, the University of Georgia fully funds the accommodation fees. The fall semester at the University of Lodz will last from 10.2022 till 02.2023

See the available faculties and courses at the University of Lodz here: https://iso.uni.lodz.pl/erasmus/programmes/ Students may choose subjects from different programs, however most of the subjects must be selected from the same program.
After completion of the exchange semester the transfer of credits will be executed according to the UG’s credit system, thus the number of credits of a transferred subjects will correspond to the number of credits assigned to the appropriate subjects at UG. The students do not pay any tuition fee to the host university, however the student must cover the cost of the recognized credits at the University of Georgia after completion of the exchange semester.

Accommodation |
The University of Lodz offers its own student accommodation to the exchange students. The approximate fee for the accommodation is 70-100 EUR per month. The students are free to choose any other form of accommodation if they wish.

Language Requirement |
The students are able to study the courses in the English language during their exchange period. The students are required to submit a certificate of the English language CEFR B2 level proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL or other internationally recognized certificate). The certificate must be valid at the time of application.
In the absence of the certificate students can attend the English language exam instead. The details of the English exam will be provided via MY UG messages.

Required Documents |
The students must submit the following documents:
· Application Form (please download from here: https://bit.ly/3Aa7K7w ) · Motivation Letter · CV (Europass format - https://europa.eu/europass/en/create-europass-cv ) · Reference letter from the appropriate School of UG (Please address the assistant of your school) · English or Italian language proficiency certificate* (CEFR B2 level valid at the time of applying) · Passport copy · Students currently studying on the 1st semester of the Master’s program, who have not completed their bachelor’s degree at the University of Georgia, must additionally submit the transcript of records of their bachelor’s studies in the English language
*Students who attend the English language exam and pass, do not need to submit any certificate for the English language.

Application Deadline |
In order to apply the student must submit the following form: https://forms.gle/4AY12qCjBoPYqK9f8 Students will be evaluated based on the submitted documents and their academic performance. The student does not need to submit documentation for the academic performance criteria (except in cases when the student is on the first semester of master’s degree, see details in the previous section)
Selection of the students will be based on the competition between applicants. The deadline for submission of the application is May 22nd .
