We are pleased to announce the call for applications for Erasmus+ exchange program at the Romanian-American University, Romania.

Selected students will study one semester at the Romanian-American University (Fall Semester - 2025-2026 academic year)

The program funds mobility as follows:

· Travel allowance

· Monthly stipend

Only students currently studying on the undergraduate (Bachelor’s) or graduate (Master’s) level of the following schools can apply:

·         School of Business and Administrative Studies

·         School of Science and Technology

*The following students can not apply:

·        Bachelor’s students currently studying on their 1^st semester;

·        Bachelor’s students for whom the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year will be the last semester of their studies;

·        Students whose student statuses are not active at the time of the application.

After completion of the exchange semester the transfer of credits will be executed according to the UG’s credit system, meaning the number of credits of a transferred subjects will correspond to the number of credits assigned to the appropriate subjects at UG. Students do not pay any tuition fee to the host university; however the student must cover the cost of the recognized credits at the University of Georgia after completion of the exchange semester.

Accommodation

Students have a right to use a different accommodation form if they choose to do so.

Language Requirement

The students are able to study the courses at the Romanian-American University in the English language during their exchange period. The students are required to submit a certificate of the English language CEFR B2 level proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL or other internationally recognized certificate). The certificate must be valid at the time of application.

If the student does not have an internationally recognized certificate, she/he can attend the English language B2 examination. Details about the examination will be provided via MY UG messages.

Required Documents

The students must submit the following documents:

·        Motivation Letter

·        CV (Europass format - https://europa.eu/europass/en/create-europass-cv )

·        Reference letter from the appropriate School of UG (Please address the assistant of your school

·        English language proficiency certificate* (CEFR B2 level valid at the time of applying)

·        Passport copy

·     Master’s degree students that study their first semester, and have not completed their Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Georgia, need to present their academic transcript from the previous university in English language

*Students who attend the English language exam and pass, do not need to submit any certificate for the English language.

Students will be evaluated based on the submitted documents and their academic performance. The student does not need to submit documentation for the academic performance criteria (except in cases when the student is on the first semester of master’s degree, see details in the previous section)

Selection of the students will be based on the competition between applicants.

The deadline for submission of the application is May 11^th.
