The International Relations and International Students Office of the University of Georgia announces the call for applications for the Erasmus+ short-term exchange program at the University of Thessaly in Greece.

Within the framework of the program, the selected students will travel to the University of Thessaly for one week (Spring semester — 2025–2026 academic year)

Only students whose academic program falls under the Environmental Sciences are eligible to participate in the program.

*The following students cannot apply:

·        Bachelor’s students currently studying on their 1^st semester

·        Bachelor’s students for whom the Spring semester of the 2025-26 academic year will be the last semester of their studies

·        Students whose student statuses are not active at the time of the application

Study Offer

University of Thessaly offers the following courses in the English language*:

For course selection consultation, the student must contact the assistant of the relevant school.

Accommodation

University of Thessaly offers student dormitory to the exchange students. For detailed information about student dormitory please visit: https://erasmus.uth.gr/en/studies-en/accommodation

Students have a right to use a different accommodation form if they choose to do so.

Language Requirement

The students are able to study the courses in the English language during their exchange period. The students are required to submit a certificate of the English language CEFR B2 level proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL or other internationally recognized certificate). The certificate must be valid at the time of application.

If the student does not have an internationally recognized certificate, she/he can attend the English language B2 examination. Details about the examination will be provided via MY UG messages.

Required Documents

The students must submit the following documents:

·        Motivation Letter

·        CV (Europass format - https://europa.eu/europass/en/create-europass-cv )

·        Reference letter from the appropriate School of UG (Please address the assistant of your school

·        English language proficiency certificate* (CEFR B2 level valid at the time of applying)

·        Passport copy

·      Students currently studying on the 1st semester of the Master’s program, who have not completed their bachelor’s degree at the University of Georgia, must additionally submit the transcript of records of their bachelor’s studies in the English language

*Students who attend the English language exam and pass, do not need to submit any certificate for the English language

Students will be evaluated based on the submitted documents and their academic performance. The student does not need to submit documentation for the academic performance criteria.

Selection of the students will be based on the competition between applicants.

The deadline for submission of the application is  December 8^th.
