Khatia Buniatishvili, born on the 21st of June, 1987, is a successful Georgian concert pianist.
She gave her first concert with the Tbilisi Chamber Orchestra when she was 6 years old and made her international debut at the age of 10.
Since 1999, Khatia has held concerts worldwide. Her performances have taken place at famous stages such as Carnegie Hall (NY), Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, Auditorium du Louvre, Conservatoire de Musique in France, the Concert Hall of Vienna and Musikverein, the Opera of Monaco, and the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theatre, among others.
Khatia has participated in important music festivals including the Verbier Festival, Progetto Martha Argerich, Menuhin Festival Gstaad, Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad, Musicales de Compesières, Internationales Kammermusikfest Lockenhaus, Elba Isola Musicale d'Europa, Les nouveaux Solistes aux Serres d'Auteuil, Chamber Music Connect the World 2008, and the Musical Olympus International Festival.
Khatia Buniatishvili is a laureate of many international competitions, including the III International Pianist Competition of Tbilisi and Albert Rubenstein's XII International Competition.
