The University of Georgia hosted the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) delegation, visiting Georgia on a study tour.

 The meeting was held with Q&A session, where GMF representatives received detailed information from students and researchers about Georgia's European integration, media freedom, implementation of 12 EU recommendations and other important processes.

 In addition, the current socio-political context of Georgia was discussed, as well as internal and external threats, foreign policy priorities and the situation in Georgia's inalienable territories occupied by Russia.

 The University of Georgia grants high importance to hosting discussions pertaining to relevant matters that affect global and local politics. On behalf of our students, we would like to thank the GMF delegation for the visit and cooperation.
