Representatives of the nursing department of the University of Georgia took an active part in the work of the annual nursing conference "Annual Meeting on the Future of Nursing and Nursing Education" held in Dubai on October 25-26, 2022, who, in addition to key speakers, were members of organizing committee, session chairs and moderators. Delegation was led by Tamar Lobjanidze, Director of the School of Health Sciences.
Presentations by representatives of the University of Georgia on the possibilities of higher nursing education in the context of COVID-19, overview of nursing in Georgia, role of family nurse in early detection and management of hepatitis C, HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis attracted great interest among the conference participants.
The conference was attended by representatives of universities, clinics and healthcare from Europe, the United States of America, Canada and Eastern countries, including Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Greece, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, India, China, who have presented interesting studies in both nursing and healthcare management, teaching and assessment methods, improving the quality of education.
Business and friendly relations were established with participants of the conference, prospects for implementation of joint research, publication of articles and mutual cooperation were identified and discussed.
