On May 27-28, the University of Georgia hosted the international conference of the ASIIN Global University Network of Excellence (AGUNE), titled “Quality Assurance in the Digital Age: Academic Values, Learning Outcomes and Digital QA Tools.”
Over the course of two days, the conference brought together higher education professionals from different countries, including representatives of AGUNE member institutions, other higher education institutions, quality assurance agencies, and related organizations.
The main topics of discussion focused on the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in higher education, the changes associated with them, the opportunities and challenges they create, and their impact on quality assurance processes.
The conference provided participants with an opportunity to exchange experiences through presentations, panel discussions, and practical sessions. These discussions covered both specific institutional examples and broader reflections on academic values and approaches.

A separate panel discussion was dedicated to the experiences of quality assurance agencies, bringing together the practices and perspectives of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement and ASIIN.
The event also featured a number of other insightful presentations and discussions. Overall, it contributed to strengthening international professional networks, facilitating the exchange of experience, and identifying opportunities for future cooperation in the field of quality assurance.
