A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Balikesir University and The University of Georgia.

The memorandum was signed by the rector of Bakilesiri University, professor. Yuzel Oghurlu and the rector of The University of Georgia, Mr. Koinstantine Topuria.

The agreement is valid until 2023-2027 and includes cooperation in the educational, cultural and scientific spheres, within the framework of Erasmus +, as well as an exchange program of academic and administrative personnel.

The memorandum of cooperation includes the inclusion of academic personnel and students in the exchange program, as well as the planning of joint scientific and academic events.

Cooperation will greatly deepen and develop relations in the academic field.
