DEMO-Constitution

On June 9-11, the University of Georgia hosted an educational project called "DEMO-Constitution", which involved simulating the creation of a constitution. 11-12 graders participated in the project and developed mini-constitutions for their imaginary country.

The goal of the project was to help participants better understand the essence and meaning of the constitution, especially in the context of human rights protection and democracy. The participants also learned about different forms of states, improved their critical and analytical thinking skills, worked in teams, and were involved in the entire process of creating a document - from idea to final visualization.

The project was led by Law School Professor Ana Pirtskhalashvili.

The student teams were mentored by Law School students: Keti Avlokhashvili, Ana Kordzakhia, and Ana Odisharia.

The winning team: Nikoloz Modebadze, Elene Kulashvili, Duda Kvinikadze and Ana Berashvili.

The second place - team of Liza Imedashvili, Andria Chlaidze and Shako Koberidze.

The best speakers were: Nana Gaprinashvili and Andria Chlaidze.
