On March 20–21, the Director of the School of Arts and Humanities at the University of Georgia, Tinatin Ghudushauri, and Associate Professor Revaz Tabatadze attended the European Educational Research Association (EERA) Congress in Berlin.
EERA representatives supported an initiative according to which the “Early Career Researchers Summer School” will be held in Georgia, at the University of Georgia, in 2029–2030. Leading specialists from various countries will participate in the summer school, making a significant contribution to the professional development of early-career researchers, their integration into the international academic space, and the enhancement of their research skills. This agreement, reached within the framework of the congress, represents an important recognition of both the Georgian Association for Interdisciplinary Educational Research and the University of Georgia at the international level.
Additionally, memoranda of cooperation were signed with educational research associations from European countries. These agreements include the implementation of joint research projects, the sharing of academic resources, and the strengthening of scientific activities. Within this framework, special support will be provided to the professors and doctoral students of the association and the University of Georgia. They will have the opportunity to publish their research in international journals free of charge, as well as receive additional academic and mentoring support from EERA and its member associations.
These achievements will significantly contribute to the internationalization of Georgia’s academic space and to improving the quality of educational research.
