Georgian Students Achieve Success at the 9th International Economics Olympiad (IEO 2026)
From July 12–20, 2026, the 9th International Economics Olympiad (IEO 2026) was held in Shenzhen, China. The IEO is one of the world's most prestigious high school competitions in the fields of economics, finance, and business. This year, the Olympiad brought together participants from nearly 60 countries.
Among the competing teams was the Georgian national delegation, whose participation was made possible by the University of Georgia.
With financial support from the University of Georgia and under the mentorship of its professors, the Georgian team consisted of five students:
