On December 17, 2024, the ENHANCE-GSL project officially kicked off with its first consortium meeting, bringing together around 25 participants from Georgia, Sierra Leone, Croatia, and Slovakia. The online meeting marked the launch of this two-year Erasmus+ CBHE initiative focused on advancing sustainable community engagement in higher education.
Facilitated by Nato Chikhladze Lomjaria and Tinatin Chitorelidze from the University of Georgia, the session outlined the project’s goals, structure, and key deliverables, along with financial and administrative guidelines. Among other things, partners discussed the development of community engagement manual, establishment of community engagement units and upcoming trainings.
The University of Georgia is proud to coordinate this important initiative and foster meaningful connections between higher education and communities in Georgia and Sierra Leone.
