European Cancer Summit 2022

On November 16-17, 2022, Doctoral student of the Public Health Program of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Georgia Miranda Nonikashvili attended the European Cancer Summit 2022 held in Brussels, Belgium. 

Cancer policy makers from different countries of the world were represented at the summit, including members of the European Parliament from ENVI & COVI Committees, where future work areas were identified, and activities planned for the current cancer management agenda were undertaken.

After presenting the abstract of the doctoral thesis, PhD student Miranda Nonikashvili was invited to the European Cancer Organization as a member of the Young Cancer Professionals Group (YCP40).
