On 27TH of July, the University of Georgia hosted a commencement ceremony 2018.
This year’s honorary speaker was acting Director of Broadcasting Company Rustavi 2 Mr. Nika Gvaramia.
The highlight of the ceremony was conferment of Doctor Honoris Causa upon famous Georgian Pianist – Mr. Valerian Shiukashvili.
The ceremony also included a musical intermission. Well-known young singers performed for the class of 2018.
UG awarded Giorgi Baghaturia graduating with highest GPA with a complete package of weekend.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests and friends of the University of Georgia.
The event event ended with throwing of caps, fireworks and cutting of a celebratory cake.
